With more than 15 years of professional experience, she has built a distinguished practice in Banking & Finance Law, Commercial & Corporate Law, Enforcement & Bankruptcy Law, Real Estate Law, Employment Law, and Commercial Litigation. Her legal approach combines technical excellence with commercial insight, enabling clients to navigate complex legal challenges while protecting their long-term business interests.

Prior to founding Ares Legal, Sedef practiced at leading law firms in Istanbul, representing domestic and international companies across a broad range of industries, including banking, construction, healthcare, manufacturing, logistics, food, tourism, energy, and technology. During this period, she advised clients on commercial litigation, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, employment law, contract drafting and negotiation, regulatory compliance, and comprehensive due diligence projects.

She later joined the legal department of one of Turkey’s leading private banks as a Senior Attorney, where she managed high-value litigation, banking disputes, enforcement and bankruptcy proceedings, debt recovery, and cross-border legal matters. This experience provided her with a unique understanding of both the legal and commercial realities faced by financial institutions and businesses operating in highly regulated environments.
